Wednesday was a pretty memorable day. A "killer smog" engulfed London threatening the lives of quite literally no people (prompting the perfectly reasonable question; in what way is it a 'killer smog'?), and the USA released their World Cup kit.
Now ordinarily we wouldn't take much notice of the piece of the announcement of a polyester flung over the torsos of fully grown men but this is a special case. The reason? Well, the launch of the US strip means that every team participating in this summer's World Cup has now revealed what they will be wearing during the tournament.
Some teams decided to push the envelope with their designs - with varying degrees of success. Others stayed true to their past and produced traditional, timeless replicas and others whacked a badge on an old kit and charged £90 for it. No points for guessing who that is.
Anyway, with all the kits now out in the open what better time than to pick out the strips that stand out from the rest?
