Russell Wilson may have only been in the NFL for two years, but the young passer has experienced great success in that short space of time. Now however, the former Wisconsin man is looking for more.

In a recent interview with ESPN, Wilson said he was prepared to work hard and become the best ever quarterback.

“Why can’t I be the best quarterback to ever play the game one day?’ Wilson said. “I’m not right now. I’ve got a long way to go. But one day, you know?”

Wilson has already cemented his position as the starting quarterback of the Seattle Seahawks and led the team to glory in the Super Bowl last season.

However, as the young passer admits he has a long way to go before he can be mentioned in the same sentence as Montana, Elway and Brady.

Wilson was selected in the third round of the 2012 draft behind both Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III. The former Wisconsin Badger has already had more playoff success than both of those prospects but it is thought that Luck and Griffin will become perennial stars as they gain experience in the league. The question will be if Wilson can continue to keep up.

Do you think Wilson can be the greatest QB of all time? Let us know in the comments.
