Chelsea have been handed an injury boost ahead of their clash with Stoke City tomorrow evening.

As reported by The Express, Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has revealed that the full-back, who has been on the sidelines since picking up a minor knee ligament injury in training last month, is back in the squad for the side to take on Mark Hughes' team.

Speaking ahead of the game in his pre-match press conference, Mourinho said: “Cole is back in the squad. Nothing else I think."

Cole will be desperate to reclaim his place back in the Chelsea side in the final few months of the season. The full-back has rarely featured for Jose Mourinho's side in this campaign since Cesar Azpilicueta took over the left-back role.

And with this summer's World Cup just around the corner, the Chelsea star will be looking to prove his fitness to England boss Roy Hodgson.

There are competition for places in the Three Lions squad, with Leighton Baines and Luke Shaw both in contention for a place in the squad.

Chelsea fans will be hoping Cole can have a positive impact on the squad after a difficult couple of weeks. Mourinho's side will be desperate to secure all three points tomorrow as they look to maintain the charge to the Premier League title.
