We start with the NBA and the San Antonio Spurs recent 19-game win streak came to an end with a loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder last night.

Kevin Durant had 28 points for the Thunder in a 106-94 victory; the Spurs retain the top spot in the West.

In Baseball, the New York Yankees secured their first win of the MLB season with a 4-2 win over the Houston Astros.

In the NFL, Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll has agreed to a contact extension with the team. The 62-year old led the franchise to their first Super Bowl win last year.

And finally, in the NHL, the depleted Chicago Blackhawks triumphed over the Minnesota Wild in a shootout. Both teams are bound for the playoffs.
