LeBron James made career and NBA history on Friday night during the Miami Heat's game with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

During Overtime in the game, Lebron hit 23,000 career points and stole a record from LA Lakers Kobe Bryant.

Now the record for the youngest ever NBA player to reach 23,000 career points has moved from LA to Miami as LeBron claims another record.

At the age of 29 LeBron has taken the record which Kobe set back in 2009 during a game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

It wasn't enough for the Heat however as they crashed to a 122-121 2OT loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

LeBron hit 34 points but it wasn't enough as a game that repeated itself twice was finally settled by a Ray Allen missed buzzer beater
