For football lovers, the sight of hulking beasts wrestling over what looks like a misshapen football can sometimes be a bit mystifying and it's fair to say the demographic of the typical fan is not that similar.

However, rugby union delivered its version of the UEFA Champions League with the incredible competition that is the Heineken Cup, which is also at the quarter-final stage. It is a terrific tournament that attracts big crowds that regular club rugby do not and provides some real high quality matches.

As like a number of you probably have, GMS often marvels, and occasionally feels fear, at the sight of the modern professional rugby player as some of them reach such levels of muscle mass and athleticism we didn't think possible. GMS also often feels relieved that we do not play rugby, because it looks like it hurts....alot.

Anyway, when watching these behemoths crash into one another tangle themselves up in great big heaps on the ground, we often try to imagine which footballers we could see playing the sport with the funny shaped ball. You can see wheere this is going, can't you?

That's right, we have put together 15 players - because that is how many are in a rugby union team - we feel we can see being at home if they switched sports.
