Chelsea star Eden Hazard is the star attraction in a list of 16 Premier League players closing in on achieving something quite special this season, managing to feature in every single match his club have played as we head towards the home straight of a gruelling campaign.

Unfortunately there is one promising starlet we know will definitely rail to reach the holy grail of 38 Premier League appearances come May despite not missing a single match so far, with Southampton striker Jay Rodriguez picking up a nasty injury against Manchester City that looks almost certain to end his campaign prematurely.

As Rodriguez faces up to missing the World Cup finals he still deserves to be picked out for special praise after playing in Southampton's 33 Premier League games to date, alongside 15 other stars who have shown the determination and desire to be counted on every week by their clubs this year.

GMS has decided to profile this select band of Premier League iron-men in a countdown you can follow by clicking ahead, with a few surprise inclusions all closing in on a perfect campaign purely in terms of appearances.
