The 30th annual WrestleMania came to us live from the Mercedes-Benz Superdrome in New Orleans, and the two hour kick off show saw:

The Usos v The Real Americans v Rybaxel v Los Matadores (Elimination Tag for the Tag Team Championships)

An incredible match that should not have been relegated to the kick-off show. Jack Swagger eliminated Los Matadores early on when he locked in the patriot lock and Diego tapped.
Cesaro then got rid off Rybaxel when he hit the neutraliser on Ryback which left The Usos against The Real Americans and after an altercation between Cesaro and Swagger saw Cesaro knock Swagger off the apron and The Usos then hit a splash from both corners of the ring to retain their titles.

Swagger was angry with Cesaro for knocking his off the apron after the match and locked in the patriot lock on a shocked Ceasro before Zeb stopped it and told him to shake Cesaro’s hand. Cesaro shook Swaggers hand before locking in the Cesaro Swing and leaving Swagger and Zeb in the ring as he walked away.

Hulk Hogan opened the WrestleMania of all WrestleMania's by welcoming everyone to the biggest show of the year.

The immortal one was interrupted by Stone Cold Steve Austin who talked about him and all of the Wrestlemania’s he has been a part of saying that he appreciates everything he has done for the business before shaking his hand.

The Rock then made his way to the ring and embraced both Stone Cold and Hogan, and talked about the two being the biggest names in WWE history. He then related John Cena to Hulk Hogan and Daniel Bryan to Steve Austin. The three then drank beer and celebrated in the ring.

Stephanie McMahon was then in the ring to announce her husband Triple H, he made a spectacular entrance on a throne closely followed by his opponent Daniel Bryan.

Triple H v Daniel Bryan

Triple H went for the handshake but Bryan refused and started the match with a roll up for a near fall.

Bryan built some momentum in the opening stages hitting a DDT off the apron before climbing up and going for another high risk move but Triple H moved and Daniel fell to the floor.

Triple H took advantage and went for the pedigree on the announce table but Daniel fought out and Triple H instead targeted the injured shoulder as he bounced it off the table.

The Cerebral Assassin then continued to assault on the shoulder bouncing him shoulder first off the apron before locking in the cross-face chicken wing.

Daniel Bryan fought back with a power-bomb from the second rope and set up for his move-set but Triple H hit a thunderous clothesline which turned Bryan inside out, but Triple H went for the pin and Bryan rolled him up for another near fall.

Bryan went for air goat but Triple H put up a knee and locked in a variation of the yes lock to put pressure on his shoulder again. Daniel Bryan reversed it into his own yes lock but Triple H found the ropes to break the hold.

Triple H rolled to the outside and Bryan flew out after him, twice before hitting the missile drop kick and his variation of kicks for another two count.

Bryan set up for his knee to the face before Triple H hit the spine-buster and the Pedigree for his own two count.

Triple H went for the pedigree again but Bryan fought out and did the unthinkable and hit the knee to the face to beat Triple H and book his place in the main event.

After the match Stephanie got in the ring and repeatedly slapped Daniel before Triple H knocked him out from behind and hit him with a chair.

The Shield v Kane and The New Age Outlaws

The New Age Outlaws started to cut a promo as they came out but The Shield interrupted and made their way to the ring.

Dean and Kane started the match up and Dean hit the rope assisted clothesline before tagging in Roman who hit the Samoan drop on Kane followed by the kick from outside the ring.

Roman then hit the superman punch on Billy Gunn and Seth and Dean flew out of the ring after the outlaws before Roman hit the spear on Kane before a double spear on Billy Gunn and Jesse James.

The Shield then hit a sensational double triple power-bomb on the New Age Outlaws for the win.

Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royale

Yoshi Tatsu was the first man eliminated merely seconds into the match, closely followed by Brad Maddox.

Brodus Clay and The Great Khali followed before Zack Ryder and Darren Young were thrown out.

3MB were then eliminated before Big Show eliminated Mark Henry. Titus O’Neil was next followed by The Miz.

Santino Marella was then eliminated by Alberto Del Rio, Damien Sandow, Justin Gabriel and David Otunga and Big E followed suit.

Fandango was then eliminated by Sheamus, closely followed by R-Truth. Tyson Kidd was then eliminated after a beautiful kick from Del Rio, before the same fate fell to Goldust.
Cody followed his brother out of the match before Rey hit the 619 on Del Rio before going for it on Cesaro but Cesaro hit the uppercut to eliminate Rey.

Kofi was then thrown out of the ring by Cesaro but his feet landed on the steps and he climbed back in, Cesaro then locked in the Cesaro swing on Kofi but Big Show hit the choke-slam on Cesaro before the Brogue kick to Big Show and Kofi was eliminated after a Brogue Kick.

Alberto Del Rio then eliminated Dolph Ziggler after a kick to the face before Del Rio and Sheamus eliminated each other.

Big Show and Cesaro were left and Cesaro picked Big Show up and threw him out of the ring to win the Andre the Giant Memorial Trophy.

After the match Big Show and Cesaro shook hands as Cesaro received his trophy.

Bray Wyatt v John Cena

Bray made his way to the ring to a live version of his theme accompanied by his family. He then sat in the ring shouting at John to finish him before the match. John refused and told him to get up before locking in a side headlock.

Cena looked like he snapped part way through the match and started really taking it to Bray with vicious kicks to the face and a thunderous clothesline.

Cena then hit a DDT from the second rope for a near fall, before Bray replied with a DDT onto the apron. Cena then took out Harper and Rowan from the top rope but this gave Bray the time to take advantage and he threw Cena into the steel steps.

Bray took too long and Cena recovered and sent Bray into the ring post before picking up the steel steps and looking like he would drop them on Bray but he dropped then instead and threw Bray back in the ring.

Bray went for Sister Abigail but Cena countered into the STF but Bray made it to the ropes. Bray then hit Sister Abigail but Cena kicked out at two.

Bray then gave Cena a chair and challenged Cena to hit him but Cean hit Harper off the apron instead and Bray went for Sister Abigail again but Cena hit the AA for the win.

The 2014 Hall of Fame class was announced to the audience as Lita, Razor Ramon, Carlos Colon, Mr.T. Ultimate Warrior, Jake Roberts and Paul Bearer took their final bows.

BACKSTAGE: Daniel Bryan was being assessed by doctors as they looked at his injured shoulder that Triple H targeted.

The Undertaker v Brock Lesnar

Lesnar started the match up the way everyone expected him to as he began the beat down on the veteran. Undertaker fought back sending Brock shoulder first into the steel post.

Undertaker went for a choke-slam but Brock reversed it into the F5 but Taker fought out and sent Brock shoulder first into the top turnbuckle.

Undertaker then hit snake eyes followed by the big boot to the beast incarnate before hitting the leg drop for the near fall.

Taker then hit the choke-slam for another near fall. But Lesnar fought back and hit the F5 for a near fall of his own.

Undertaker locked in Hells Gate on Lesnar but the beast slammed him to the mat and broke the hold. Taker then locked it in again in the centre of the ring, but Lesnar slammed him again.

Lesnar then locked in the Kimura but Taker reversed it and locked it in on him, but Lesnar fought out and Undertaker went for Old School but Lesnar reversed into the F5 for a close near fall.

Undertaker then slammed Brock from the top rope before hitting the tombstone pile-driver but Brock again kicked out at two.

Undertaker then went for his second tombstone but Brock reversed into his third F5 and pinned him to officially BREAKTHE STREAK!


After the match Undertaker was given a standing ovation from the announcers and fans as he left the ring.

Vickie Guerrero’s divas invitational match (Divas Championship)

All the divas went straight for AJ and Tamina, Nikki went for the first near fall on Layla. Natalya went for a triple sharpshooter but Eva rolled her up for a two count.

Eva shoved Tamina to the mat but she got back up and Nikki and Brie worked together to send Tamina out of the ring before flying out after them.

Brie and Nikki then turned on each other and Nikki hit the rack attack for a near fall on her sister. Layla and Alicia broke it up and Tamina then came in and hit the neckbreaker on Natalya before going for the splash but Naomi knocked her down.

AJ then locked in the black widow on Naomi and she tapped as AJ retained.

BACKSTAGE: Everyone from the Wrestlemania I main event was with Mean Gene Okerlund and they all buried the hatchet and shook hands.

Randy Orton v Batista v Daniel Bryan (WWE World Championship)

Orton approached the ring to Rev Theory as he was set to defend his titles, Daniel looked to be cleared to wrestle as he also made his way to the ring and the action got under-way.

Batista tried to throw Randy into the steel steps but Randy reversed into a back body drop onto the steel.

He then got rid of Daniel Bryan and went back to Batista and bounced him off the barricade. Orton then got a near fall on Batista.

Batista and Orton fought in the ring as Bryan hit a missile drop kick on both men before following up with a series of kicks but Orton reversed into a slam for another near fall.

Batista suplexed Daniel Bryan right outside the ring and went after Orton but Orton suplexed Batista from the top rope.

Daniel Bryan locked in the yes lock on Orton and Triple H and Stephanie ran out and knocked out the referee just as Orton was about to tap.

Batista then hit the spine buster on Daniel Bryan before Scott Armstrong came back into the ring to count after a Batista bomb but Bryan kicked out at two.

Bryan then kicked Scott out of the ring before following him out and taking out the entire Authority.

Triple H then took out the sledgehammer but Bryan took it and hit in the face with his own hammer before Bryan rolled up Batista for a two count.

Orton and Batista then teamed up to beat up Bryan and Orton hit Bryan with the steel steps followed by a monitor to the face.

Orton and Batista then teamed up to his a Batista Bomb/RKO through the announce desk. The medics came to see to Bryan whilst Batista turned on Orton and bounced him off the ring post.

Daniel Bryan was put on a stretcher but he climbed off and wanted to fight on, Randy Orton threw him in to the steel steps before throwing him back into the ring and set up for the RKO but Bryan locked in the yes lock.

Batista saved the match up before Orton could tap but Bryan locked in the yes lock on Batista but Orton saved the match up this time.

Batista then ran straight at Orton but he moved and he head-butted Bryan. Randy then RKO’d Batista for a near fall before Bryan hit the knee to the face to Orton but Batista threw him out of the way and claimed another near fall.

Batista then hit the Batista Bomb on Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan hit the knee to face on Batista before making him tap to the yes lock.

Daniel then stood tall on the announce table with the two titles as Wrestlemania went off the air.

So that was the Wrestlemania of all Wrestlemania's, the biggest one of them all and it will be remembered for the longest streak in sports entertainment finally ending. Daniel Bryan had him moment in the sun, finally overcoming his demons and there was no CM Punk in sight. Believe it or not. Wrestlemania 30, delivered.
