WWE: The Undertaker injured at WrestleMania XXX

WrestleMania XXX concluded with Daniel Bryan finally lifting the WWE World Heavyweight Championship high above his head after months of fighting The Authority - but the night was overshadowed by a streak ending.

The build-up to the match between Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker - billed as The Beast vs. The Streak - wasn't what we usually expect from somebody challenging the streak. Shawn Michaels proved to be a real threat whilst CM Punk took the rivalry to a whole new level by incorporating the death of Paul Bearer into the feud and getting into the Deadman's head.

But this year the build-up was underwhelming, we only saw them face-to-face a number of times and this shouldn't be the case for somebody looking to end the greatest streak in sports entertainment.

Brock Lesnar got the upper hand on Lesnar just once before they met at WrestleMania where he hit the F5 on The Undertaker. Less than a week later the internet wrestling fans have been left gob smacked that Brock Lesnar actually ended the streak; it is a reality.

WrestleMania was just not a good night for The Undertaker; not only did his legendary streak end at the hands of Brock Lesnar but it has been revealed that he was taken to hospital right after he made his way backstage.

As various outlets in New Orleans are reporting, The Undertaker was in fact taken to hospital as there were claims that he may have suffered a concussion in the early stages of his match with Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania XXX. At this time it isn't confirmed whether he suffered a legitimate concussion but The Undertaker didn't look too good at the conclusion of his match.

Regardless of this he was taken to hospital for precautionary measures and stayed there overnight. There are also concerns that he suffered a neck injury of some sort as well, the injuries came early in his match against Lesnar, during a spot when The Undertaker took a bad fall off a single-leg from Brock Lesnar.

Although The Undertaker sustained the injuries, they didn't play a part in the outcome. It has been revealed that only a handful of people knew Brock Lesnar was going to walk out the victor and no last minute decisions were made.

Vince McMahon, Paul Heyman, Brock Lesnar, The Undertaker, Triple H, Stephanie McMahon and other top officials are highlighted as the individuals that knew that The Undertaker was going to put Brock Lesnar over at WrestleMania XXX. Which is odd when you consider than in the US The Undertaker went from 40/1 favourite to the underdog by the time the match officially started.

So did Brock Lesnar deserve to win? Stay tuned to GiveMeSport WWE for a more in-depth look at whether Lesnar deserved to end the streak.
