Arsenal are lining up a move for Rubin Kazan's Iranian wonderkid Sardar Azmoun in the summer, with talks set to begin as early as next week, according to The Express.
The 19-year-old, whose exploits in Russia have earned him the nickname 'The Iranian Messi', has caught the eye in the few appearances he has made this season, netting three times in 12 appearances.
Although he is yet to be capped at senior level, his international record is also impressive - he has netted 19 times in just 17 appearances for the Iran Under-20 side.
Speaking to a Russian television show, Azmoun admitted that a move to the Premier League would be "a dream come true", but has warned that Arsenal are not the only club interested in his services; he confirmed that Italian giants AC Milan are also chasing his signature.
He said: "There already are solid offers coming from both Arsenal and AC Milan. Both their representatives are about to meet Rubin Kazan management next Thursday."
He suggested that he will not make a decision until the end of the season by adding:"But now I'm just focused on the remaining part of Russian championship."
It is believed Rubin would be willing to part with the dazzling youngster for a meagre £2million.
