It was a forgone conclusion that The Shield were going to come out on top at Wrestlemania and take their own streak on "the grandest stage of them all" to 2-0.

No one could have predicted it would happen in the way it did. The six man tag match between The New Age Outlaws and The Shield was the shortest match of the night, and that includes the Divas match and ended with a sensational double-triple power-bomb.

It was this ending that is thought to have caused Billy Gunn a legitimate injury as he received the power-bomb. It seems he began to develop hemoptysis and started coughing up blood.

The veteran was treated by the WWE medics, his oxygen and blood pressure was checked and his condition was described as stable late last night.

Rumours circulated that this was the reason that the match was cut short, this wasn't the case as Billy suffered the injury right at the end of the match so The Shield were planned to have overcome the veterans in such a short space of time to put over their dominance further.
