Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has given his side a massive fitness boost by returning to first-team training.
Rooney was forced into missing his side's 4-0 win over Newcastle at the weekend as he sustained a toe injury in the first leg of Manchester United's encounter against Bayern Munich.
Manchester United's medical team were said to be sweating over the fitness of Rooney - however it now appears the 28-year-old could return to the Premier League champions' starting line-up to play Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena.
Red Devils centre-back Jonny Evans, who played 65 minutes against Aston Villa last night after spending two months on the sidelines with a calf injury, also took part in training earlier today.
Ashley Young, who was forced off after just 18 minutes against Newcastle United with a hand injury, surprisingly took part in the session - while Patrice Evra and Ryan Giggs were also training with the rest of Manchester United's first-team squad.
Moyes is expected to be without two first-team regulars however, as Marouane Fellaini and Rafael missed the pre-match session at Manchester United's Aon training complex.
