Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard should expect to receive a hefty bill in the next few days after smashing a camera while doing some kick-ups with three other Belgium internationals, including Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini.
Hazard and Fellaini were keeping up the miniature ball along with Tottenham’s Jan Vertonghen and Zenit’s Axel Witsel, when the Chelsea star couldn’t resist the urge to volley the ball straight into the camera, which cracked on impact.
This incident highly amused his teammates, while Hazard ran off celebrating. This suggests that, in fact, no cameras were harmed in the making of the advert - and that it was all just a marketing ploy from the Belgian FA to get people to visit supportinbrazil.be.
Belgium have long been considered dark horses to win the 2014 World Cup, where they will face Algeria, Russia and South Korea in the group stages. Although on the evidence of this clip, they have some work to do yet.
