Rap artist Drake has given a shout out to his pal Johnny Manziel, on his latest track 'Draft Day'.

Manziel is also featured on the cover of the song, with the young quarterback being kissed on both cheeks by two women.

Drake raps: "Draft day, Johnny Manziel, Five years later how am I the man still."

The friendship between the two has been well publicised in the recent months, with 'Johnny Football' receiving as much attention off the field as he does on it.

The pair have become close friends over the past 18 months, with them both experiencing a similar rise to super stardom. It went as far as Drake wearing a top with Manziel's face on it.

Manziel has been polarising the opinions of many in the NFL, with his off-field antics drawing as much publicity as his performances with the ball.

Such antics have made him somewhat fancied to some in the draft this year, but becoming the first freshman to win the Heisman trophy shows that the man is an unbelievable prospect.
