Luol Deng only linked up with the Cavaliers in January but it looks increasingly likely that his time with the Cleveland franchise will end in the summer.
Brought in as part of the trade that saw Andrew Bynum head to Chicago, the British NBA veteran was never likely to stay too long at his new home with the option of free agency at seasons end.
Even so, a limited mpact with the Cavs has seen expectation of his departure heighten, and now the LA Lakers are the latest team to be linked to the player.
As reported by USA Today's Sam Amick, Deng is "definitely on the Lakers radar."
The LA franchise were linked with a move for the player as early as the February trade deadline but held back from any move.
But as the California team head for a busy summer of rebuilding Deng is the latest man to be linked with a Lakers contract as the season nears it's end.
Deng has averaged 14.4 points and 5.2 rebounds in his 39 games for the Cavaliers this year and could add some experience to a roster that could be without Pau Gasol next year.
What do you think Lakers fans? Would the Brit be a good addition?
