Manchester United have announced the latest leg of the US preseason tour.
David Moyes's side will take on the LA Galaxy in the Chevrolet FC Cup at the Rose Bowl on Wednesday 23 July this summer.
It will be the first match of United's summer tour to the United States, and as a result will be the first time United wear their new Chevrolet sponsored shirt.
The Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California is one of America's most famous venues, and is often cited as one of the most spectacular in the world.
Manchester United group managing director, Richard Arnold said: "Playing LA Galaxy at the world famous Rose Bowl will be an important part of the team's preparations for the 2014-15 football season.
"The club has been visiting Los Angeles since 1950 and this match provides a great opportunity for us to engage with our fans in this region.
"The popularity of soccer in the US continues to strengthen and Major League Soccer and LA Galaxy have been fundamental to this.
"Our previous matches against MLS opposition have proved popular with fans and players alike and we are delighted to be returning to the US."
Last year United did not travel to the United States, instead they ventured to the Far East to take on a number of J-League sides and the A-League All Stars in Sydney, Australia.
The Rose Bowl game against the LA Galaxy is the second match announced this year, following the decision to stage a Manchester United versus Real Madrid game in Ann Arbor, Michigan in August.
Michigan Stadium, home of the Wolverines in NCAA college football, is one of the country's biggest stadiums and currently has a capacity of 109,901.
