Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has labelled David Luiz a 'monster' after the Brazilian ace helped the Blues reach the semi-final of the Champions League last night.

As reported by The Daily Mail, 'The Special One' - who saw his side overturn a 3-1 first leg deficit to French giants Paris Saint-Germain - praised his midfielders after the 2-0 win at Stamford Bridge.

Luiz, who played alongside English veteran Frank Lampard in the middle of the park, has had an indifferent season, having struggled for form at times, however he earned the praise of his manager last night.

Speaking to reporters, the Chelsea boss said: "They worked like animals my midfield, David Luiz is a monster."

Goals from André Schürrle and Demba Ba secured Chelsea's passage to the semi-final stage of the competition and they will now turn their attentions to Friday's draw.

Real Madrid joined Mourinho's side in the last four last night, despite losing 2-0 on the night to Borussia Dortmund.

The games tonight will see Manchester United take on Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena and Barcelona travel to Madrid to take on Atletico.
