Real Madrid are looking to sign Southampton's Luke Shaw according to Spanish newspaper, Marca, to replace their Portuguese left back Fabio Coentrao.

With Coentrao being linked with moves to Manchester United and Liverpool since the beginning of the season, Madrid are looking to bring in competition for Marcelo with Shaw and Grenada’s Guilherme Siqueira being identified as capable signings.

With the 18-year-old being valued at £30million, this may spark a bidding war between United, Chelsea and Madrid.

However, Madrid may opt to sign Siqueira as he may prove to be a cheaper option for Los Blancos, with a valuation in the region of £10million.

Shaw has made 33 appearances for Southampton this season, whilst also making his England debut in March against Denmark.

A move to Real Madrid would cap off a fantastic season for Shaw, with the teenager also pushing Ashley Cole to go to the World Cup in Rio.
