An indoor cycling centre has been opened in London to provide cyclists with the ultimate cycling experience.

Athlete Lab is the only indoor cycling centre that offers cyclists training on real bikes not spin bikes. Being able to train on a real bike can be more beneficial as it mimics cycling on the open road.

The centre provides the best coaching with the latest cycling technology and hardware so people can train in a professional environment.

The technology used is no different to what is used by Olympic athletes when they train, offering cyclists an opportunity to train harder and better than they have before.

Athlete Lab have established a partnership with team Sky legend Shane Sutton who helps organise the coaching of people training in Athlete Lab.

According to Athlete Lab YouTube page, Shane Sutton said: "I think the advantage of coming in to Athlete Lab is you can get on a real bike, it saves you the hassle of putting your own bike in the back of the car and trying to get that ride at lunchtime.

"Anyone can walk in here and they can have an hour or whatever it takes to run that programme they've been given by the coaches and gives themselves a good workout."

He also explains that coaching is at a world class level.

"The coaching that you're going to receive at Athlete Lab is going to be World class and Olympic class standard coaching. You're going to be training to proper zones, proper power, the options will be there for you to take this to whatever level you want to do.

"These coaches are equip to do that, they're not personal trainers, they're actual cycle coaches and that's what Athlete Labs about.

"It's about personal cycling training."

Athlete Lab caters for cyclists whether they're experienced or beginner and the high level of coaching means cyclists are monitored throughout their training.

Head Coach, Roland Kemp said: "The journey of coaching starts from the very beginning as soon as they come through the doors, so rather than just jumping on a bike they're actually weighed because what we're looking at is to gage the FTP, so functional threshold power.

"So the real difference training in an environment like this is date is measurable , progressive and it's coached and that's where the benefits in training come."

Not only does Athlete Lab give people the opportunity to train, it also give people the chance to compete in race nights, where they can race against people in the room as well as across the world.
