Former Alabama quarterback, AJ McCarron and his fiance Katherine Webb will star in a reality TV series documenting the buildup to the couples' wedding.
NFL.com reported today that the couple's upcoming nuptials on July 11th will be televised in addition to the planning of the big day.
Webb's sister, Laurie said: "They've already started filming during the proposal. From what I understood, it came from someone else. I don't think they were trying to get into a reality show, I think they just had the opportunity and decided to take it."
Katherine is a former Miss Alabama and has also modelled for Sports Illustrated. She gained national attention when analyst Brent Musberger talked about her during the 2013 BCS National Championship game.
McCarron won two National Championships, including the 2013 title, with the Crimson Tide and has been predicted to be among the first quarterbacks taken in the NFL draft.
There has been no word yet on which network will air the show or when it will be released but it could certainly boost McCarron's profile since the quarterback has taken a backseat to Johnny Manziel and Blake Bortles in recent months.
