Baltimore Orioles slugger, Adam Jones has never been shy about telling people how he feels. Jones has over 130,000 twitter followers and yesterday he spoke out about his dislike for fans that invade the field during games.

“I think the punishment needs to be a lot harsher and they should let us have a shot to kick them with our metal spikes on because it’s stupid.” Jones said

Two fans ran onto the field during the Orioles meeting with the Yankees yesterday and Jones was not hiding his feelings on the matter:

“You look like a jackass when you run on the field . . . I get it, you’re drunk and you want to be on SportsCenter. Your [butt] is going to jail with a fine... A couple of years ago, one dude broke his ankle in Baltimore. I was laughing at him. I wish he shattered his femur because it’s stupid.  I wish the cops tase the living (c**p out of them. I wish that.”

Jones joined the Orioles in 2008 and has mad three All-Star appearances, won three Gold Glove awards and won the Silver Slugger award in 2013.

He represented the United States at the 2013 World Baseball Classic and after the Orioles failed to make the playoffs that season, he joined MLB Network as an analyst for the postseason.

The Orioles beat the Yankees 14-5 with Jones scoring a home run in the win. Baltimore's record improved to 3-5 on the season.

Both teams failed to make the playoffs in 2013 after meeting in the 2012 postseason.
