Former Manchester United striker Ruud Van Nistelrooy has 'come out of retirement' as he has signed a contract to become the latest star of EA Sports and Xbox's 'Play Like A Legend' attribute of Fifa 14 Ultimate Team.
The 37-year-old has been back in training trying to earn himself a new deal and has now put pen to paper with his latest club, with Van Nistelrooy pictured alongside his manager as the signing was completed.
Van Nistelrooy is the most high-profile legend to have made a move on the game, where fans can also win legend items as well as other FUT prizes via the Play Like A Legend Website by sending in their best clips of in-game footage.
The Dutchman joins several other legends of the beautiful game in being a part of Play Like A Legend. These include; Dennis Bergkamp, Gianfranco Zola and Luis Figo.
Van Nistelrooy was a prolific player for Manchester United, having scored 150 goals in 219 appearances during his five year spell there.
During his debut season with the club, Van Nistelrooy netted an amazing 36 goals, managing to top this the following season with 44, inspiring United to the Premier League title.
