The fifth edition of the T20 World Cup has now concluded, granting us a fifth different
winner of the tournament.

Sri Lanka joined previous winners: India, Pakistan,England and the West Indies, when they beat India in Dhaka.

It took Sri Lanka three separate visits to a final to finally manage to lift the trophy.

And they were certainly helped on their way by some star, standout performances.

It really was a team effort, with the bowlers bailing out their batsmen when they fell short, and vice versa.

But let’s not forget the other 15 teams that played a part in Bangladesh as well.

T20 matches tend to offer excitement and tension anyway, but the recent competition showcased some of the world’s best talents, pitting their wits against one another.

Some performances stick in your mind, and here is a list of some of the best individual efforts that were displayed at the 2014 World T20.
