VIRAT KOHLI vs South Africa

India maintained a 100 per cent record in the competition, up until the semi-finals, where they knew another win would book their place in a second World T20 final.

Infamous underachievers South Africa stood in their way and they set MS Dhoni’s side a target of 173 to reach the tournament decider.

Up stepped Virat Kohli – the bastman ended the competition as the top run scorer – and he came in at number three to hit an explosive, yet surprisingly calm, 72 from 44 balls to see his side home.

The T20 specialist took the game by the scruff of the neck and helped India to complete their run chase with five balls to spare.
