Representatives from Manchester United will run the rule over potential summer targets Eliaquim Mangala and Alberto Moreno tonight.
The aforementioned duo will face each other at the Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán in the second leg of the Europa League semi-finals, which has given Manchester United's scouting team the perfect opportunity to watch both Mangala and Moreno.
Mangala has attracted interest from a host of Premier League sides in recent months - with Manchester City said to be at the top of the queue.
However the Citizens will not be allowed a free run on Mangala as their arch-rivals are keeping a close eye on the Frenchman, according to the Daily Mail.
Manchester United boss David Moyes will be in the market for a new centre-back in the summer as Rio Ferdinand is likely to join Nemanja Vidic in leaving Manchester United at the end of the season.
Moyes has also identified the left side of Manchester United's defence as an area that needs improving.
Sevilla's Moreno is said to be under consideration to replace veteran defender Patrice Evra - along with Fabio Coentrao and Luke Shaw.
