NFL Draft prospect Blake Bortles visited the Jacksonville Jaguars today ahead of the draft in May, with the former UCF quarterback catching up with Jags TV Thursday.
Bortles is one of the top three rated QB's in the 2014 draft, with Johnny Manziel and Teddy Bridgewater thought of in equally high regard by commentators and fans alike.
The Jaguars have the third pick in the draft come May, which means a QB selection of high quality is assured.
If it's not their number one choice at QB, it will be their third choice at the very least, and Jacksonville have this week invited all of the top prospects to visit their complex.
As a result, Bortles was interviewed today and he spoke of an excellent experience in meeting the Jaguars personnel for the third and final time before draft day.
"The culture over here is great. Just being able to come in here and see the facility is great. The cafeteria, the weight rooms and the changing rooms are all top notch," he told Jags TV.
"It's really nice to be here and looks like an awesome place to be. Speaking with all the coaches was a good experience, and it's getting me really fired up. It's exciting to possibly have the chance to be here in Jacksonville.
"It's been good meeting with Gus Bradley and Jeff Fish. I met them down in Indianapolis, and that was a good experience.
"We met at UCF as well, and now we talked here at the Jaguars. Every time I've met them I've got something out of it."
Bortles added that he won't be doing anymore on-field work before the draft. But he did admit that he will make two more visits before his big day.
