With the WrestleMania XXX chapter now officially closed we witnessed some epic matches and moments, and as expected a lot of fall-out from the show itself.
It has been a busy two weeks in the WWE for the company and the fans, with AXXESS, WrestleMania XXX and Monday Night Raw as well as the taping for Friday Night SmackDown all taking place - there is a lot to get through...
The SHIELD vs. Kane and The New Age Outlaws - The six-man tag team match was the match which had to be cut short at WrestleMania XXX, lasting almost three minutes. The entrances and the match had to be cut short as we saw with The SHIELD interrupting The New Age Outlaws entrance in order to make sure enough time was given to the remainder of the card.
Contrary to reports, the match was not cut short due to Billy Gunn's injury, the match length was finalised before he suffered a burst blood vessel courtesy of the triple powerbomb.
Sting to WWE - The rumour has been circulating the web for months but wrestling legend Sting has signed a deal with the WWE. There were rumours that he would appear on the post-WrestleMania Raw but that wasn't the case. In fact right now there is no confirmation on when he will eventually appear on screen.
His deal includes time on TV, but it remains to be seen how often he will be used. He expected to face The Undertaker in his final match, but with the streak ending and both men not being in the best of shapes, we'll have to see the realistic possibilities on Sting could face.
The SHIELD vs. Evolution - While it hasn't been confirmed it is expected that at Extreme Rules The SHIELD will take on Evolution. The angle was set at the conclusion of Monday Night Raw and a War Games stipulation has even been speculated. At this time Ric Flair is not expected to play a role but instead Kane will team with Evolution whereas Daniel Bryan will team with The SHIELD in a potential eight-man tag team match.
John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt are also rumoured to have a rematch on the same night.
WWE releases expected - The WWE officially relieved Ezekiel Jackson of his duties earlier in the week, and there is also concern surrounding Christian. Due to his concussion there are rumours he may retire whereas the WWE are also planning a clear-out of the roster. However, it won't specifically the younger talent as expected but they will be targeting superstars who have reached a certain age and don't have a bright future, their contracts will probably not be renewed.
The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin - Steve Austin and The Rock joined Hulk Hogan in an epic opening segment to WrestleMania XXX; and it has been reported that an agreement between the duo had been reached several weeks before WrestleMania XXX. However the deals were finalised some time earlier on the final Monday Night Raw before WrestleMania went live.
The WWE didn't want to announce either man and wanted it to be surprising, however TMZ reported that Stone Cold Steve Austin would be at the event; so the WWE went ahead and promoted The Rock to be there as well.
The Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar - The streak ending was a major talking point not only backstage but for the millions of fans around the world too. There were reports that the referee Chad Patton had no idea that the streak was ending, these rumours are false. Only a handful of people knew the streak would be ending, obviously The Undertaker, Brock Lesnar, Paul Heyman, Stephanie McMahon, Triple H, Vince McMahon and referee Chad Patton knew this was the case, whereas the commentators didn't know until moments before they received the call through their headsets.
The Deadman was legitimately hospitalised after the match where Vince, Heyman and Lesnar all accompanied him. This match possibly ended the little real-life feud between the pair as Lesnar was seen whispering 'thank you' to The Undertaker after his victory. A number of superstars were unhappy with the streak ending but can't speak publicly about it and several reports are suggesting Vince had to talk The Undertaker into allowing the streak into ending and 'Taker simply went with the idea.
But someone with so much respect and power backstage would have a say, The Undertaker previously wanted Lesnar to end the streak; and it wouldn't have ended without The Undertaker's blessing.
WWE interviews 'shocked Undertaker guy' - Everyone that tuned into WrestleMania XXX this past Sunday would have heard of this man, or seen his face posted on social media. Ellis Mbeh has taken social media by storm after his shocked expression at The Undertaker's streak ending, with 'memes' and jokes aimed at Mbeh, but the WWE did manage to catch an interview with him.
Surprisingly, Mbeh wanted Brock Lesnar to end the streak. He is a big Triple H fan and wanted The Game to defeat The Undertaker at WrestleMania and he failed. He mentioned that he just expected The Undertaker to win and was understandably shocked that Lesnar walked out the victor. Mbeh also managed to meet his hero, Triple H at AXXESS.
The Ultimate Warrior - This week we heard the sad news that The Ultimate Warrior had passed away. WWE superstars and legends have all paid tribute to the legend, even those who had infamous real-life feuds with the eccentric superstar. Eyewitnesses have said that Warrior looked 'sweaty and stressed' throughout the WrestleMania weekend and didn't look too good in the ring on Monday night. He was reportedly seen clutching his chest before collapsing in a hotel and was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital. Triple H broke the news to the rest of the locker room.
Nancy Grace caused outrage on social media after she named a list of wrestlers - on her TV show where Diamond Dallas Page was the guest - and accused them all of dying due to drug abuse. Of course that isn't true as she mentioned Owen Hart who died during a failed stunt and Junkyard Dog, who passed away in a road accident.
Superstars and fans have responded to her ignorance on social media - you can watch the segment by clicking on the video above.
Other news - Tyson Kidd is set to be repackaged, the talented wrestler hasn't had the TV time he deserves and possibly a change in gimmick could do the trick.
There were reports that new CM Punk merchandise was being sold at AXXESS over the weekend; it remains to be seen whether Punk will receive a cut from any sales.
Fandango and Summer Rae have 'split-up'; Fandango will now be accompanied to the ring by Layla, Summer Rae continues to impress in the ring so she could be set for a bigger role in the diva's division.
The backstage reaction to Paul Heyman's promo on Monday Night Raw was a positive one. Whilst new Divas Champion Paige is expected to drop the NXT Women's Champion very soon, possibly to Charlotte; the daughter of Ric Flair.
