Inter Milan are leading the race to sign Chelsea outcast John Obi Mikel.
The London Evening Standard believe Mikel could swap west London for Milan at the end of the season after growing frustrated at the lack of game-time he has received since Nemanja Matic's arrival at the club.
Matic has been deployed in Mikel's role since rejoining the club from Benfica in January, which has pushed the Nigerian international closer to the Stamford Bridge exit door.
Mikel will not be short of suitors if he was to leave Chelsea at the end of the season as Inter Milan and Galatasaray are among the clubs chasing his signature.
Inter Milan have reportedly leapt above their Turkish counterparts in the race to sign Mikel as they are prepared to hand Chelsea £10million in order to seal the signing of the 26-year-old.
Mikel's exit would come eight years after Chelsea were forced into paying £16million for the Nigerian international after they were embroiled in a sticky transfer saga with Premier League rivals Manchester United and Norwegian outfit Lyn Oslo.
