Champions League: Semi-final XI's head-to-head (12)

Diego Costa v Karim Benzema

Right, we're down to the final position - but who will grab the last spot?

Chelsea's lack of a world class forward means they don't really feature in this position while Mario Madzukic is a superb team player - but Pep Guardiola's decision to opt for Thomas Müller in Bayern's quarter final 1st leg tie against Manchester United shows how much emphasis he puts on the position.

That leaves our two nominees - between them they have 42 league goals this season and can rightly claim to be amongst Europe's most deadly strikers.

Winner:

Diego Costa grabs the last spot on our Champions League XI. He's only behind Ronaldo in the LA Liga scoring charts and has led Atletico to the top of the table, and will be key if his team are to make the Champions League final.

So, with that our final team looks something like this:

Courtois, Lahm, Ivanovic, Terry, Dante, Modric, Schweinsteiger, Ronaldo, Robben, Thiago, Costa
