New York Giants are in the market for a new quarterback and Matt Flynn is said to be one of the players that they are interested in.
Flynn is currently with the Green Bay Packers, but it''s understood that the Giants will look to him as they try to decide who should provide back up for current starter Eli Manning.
The Packers may still want to keep hold of Flynn as their own back-up, but as a team they are said to not be too desperate to keep him on board.
According to Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News, the Giants have reached out to Flynn with interest in signing him.
"Josh Freeman may not be the only vet QB the Giants workout in the near future. They have also reached out to free agent QB Matt Flynn," Vacchiano tweeted.
Making a play for a player is a clear sign of interest, and it will be interesting to see if the NFC East side get their man.
Josh Freeman is also a QB that the Giants are said to be interested, so we'll see who wins out.
