Manchester United representatives, including one of the Glazer family, have met with Louis van Gaal to discuss the possibility of succeeding David Moyes as manager. Big news indeed. The club, of course, deny such a suggestion.

Elsewhere, Arsenal are considering a move for Everton teenager John Stones. The defender has been able to establish himself in the side following injury to Phil Jagielka, and Arsene Wenger likes what he has seen from the 19-year-old.
