As Antoine Griezmann, the 23-year-old winger, became one of the best players of La Liga, Didier Dechamps had no other choice, but to call him up for an international match against Netherlands.

Real Sociedad have been convinced in the youngster's quality back in 2005, while he was on a trial with Montpellier. They offered him a one-week trial in Spain and soon afterwards, he joined their youth academy.

Four years later, in the 2009-10 season, Martin Lasarte called him up for the club's pre season campaign. The Frenchman scored five unrealistic goals in four friendly matches and granted himself a first team place.

The club was then competing in the second grade of Spanish football and without a problem, marched through the league, winning 74 points. Heroes of the season were Imanol Agirretxe who scored 28 goals, and of course, Griezmann with six goals.

Since then, the quality of the player has been unquestionable and he participated in every opportuned match for the team from San Sebastian. His bicycle kick goal against Lyon has filled almost every sports newspapers and also helped him to gain the worldwide popularity

Impressive games for his only club increased Griezmann's value over the last few months and now, top clubs are doing their best to acquire him. Rumours say he could leave Estadio Anoeta for Arsenal, or Manchester United.

The most suitable club for the left winger would probably be United, as he presents higher quality and potential than Ashley Young.

An Arsenal or Chelsea move would not suit him, because the Gunners already have Santi Cazorla and Lukas Podolski, and on the other side, Blues have Andre Schurrle and Eden Hazard for that position, so it would be pointless for them to make a move for Griezmann at this time.

He has definitely deserved a move to a bigger club due to the skills, goals and assists presented in Spain. Deschamps doesn't even have to reconsider his World Cup call-up and should preserve a spot for the lad right away.
