Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is one of the most hated managers in Europe, according to Feyenoord head coach Ronald Koeman.
The Daily Mirror reports how the Dutchman says The Special One has become a cult hate figure within the game, before adding that he personally has been won over by the Portuguese star's tactical nous and winning mentality.
Mourinho's touchline antics and verbal war of words with a number of different opposite numbers has left his popularity level at an all-time low, but despite that there's no denying that the 51-year-old is one of the most successful modern day coaches in world football.
"Many people in the game can’t stand Mourinho - [but] I am the opposite," said Koeman. "Mourinho may not create the most beautiful style of football. But he does create winners.
"Nobody turns his players into winners more than he does. This man gets the maximum out of his teams."
After returning to Stamford Bridge last summer, Mourinho has guided Chelsea to the Champions League semi-finals, and remains in contention for the Premier League title race with four games remaining in the 2013/14 campaign.
His influence and ability cannot be underestimated, it's just the more unsavoury characteristics that the Blues boss also possesses in his personality that make him a target for frequent criticism from his peers and supporters of rival clubs.
After Koeman's recent comments regarding Mourinho, GiveMeSport has decided to pick out the five most hated managers currently working in the Premier League.
