For years now fans have been poking fun at Triple H and criticising him for 'burying' other talents on the roster.
This basically means Triple H will not allow another superstar to defeat him in case he becomes more relevant or a bigger superstar than Triple H.
But is that really the case?
Triple H has married into the McMahon family and at times he has had an easy ride to the top, but when he was younger he too was in a position where some of the younger superstars are today.
But the term 'burying' has become synonymous with Triple H, as fans always expect that he will not allow an up-and-comer to get the better of him because of his status within the company, but that really isn't true.
This past year was the perfect example of why Triple H is not what the fans think, it's difficult to say what he is really like as fans describe him as egotistical but he is also a workhorse and we have seen that for countless years.
Triple H and Stephanie McMahon are now taking on a bigger role within the company, as this is a transitional period which will see Vince fade to the back, Triple H and Stephanie have proven they can hold their own very well.
Vince McMahon missed the main event of WrestleMania XXX as he accompanied The Undertaker to the hospital, and left his daughter and son-in-law in charge and told them to close the show and that's exactly what they did.
Triple H created most of the card for the night, he made some of the biggest and boldest decisions and they paid off. He is clever, Triple H knows he would have made a lot of money from Bryan if he captured the WWE Championship from John Cena at SummerSlam, but he knew that he would have made millions more if he waited for WrestleMania; and allowed Bryan to have his moment with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the showcase of the immortals.
The past few WrestleMania events have not been spectacular, of course there have been a handful of matches which have stood out from others, such as Triple H vs. The Undertaker and the first encounter between The Rock and John Cena, but as a whole those cards weren't great.
Triple H had more power this time round, he produced the show the way he saw fit and we're looking back at WrestleMania XXX as one of the greatest events in the history of sports entertainment, no small feat by any means.
He could have easily made another swerve and laughed at the fans in his heel persona by defeating Daniel Bryan in the opening match, but he went over in the opening match; and allowed Bryan to get what he deserved without Triple H or anyone else taking that away from him.
He allowed Bryan to win two matches in one night, made him look like such a superhero that even the greats of the business would be jealous at the role Bryan played that night, thanks to Triple H who could have just as easily done the same for himself.
Now the latest rumours are suggesting that Triple H will be feuding with Roman Reigns of The SHIELD, with a match pencilled in for SummerSlam; a huge step up for Reigns.
Triple H knows Roman Reigns is the future, will he let Reigns defeat him and make him look like a legitimate future threat? Of course he will, working alongside Triple H will take Reigns to that next level.
So the next time people try to say Triple H isn't creative enough, remember he produced the majority of the WrestleMania XXX card, which is probably the best in history. He put Daniel Bryan over, for the good of the company.
