Having recently defeated The Undertaker and ending the infamous streak at WrestleMania XXX, plans are already in place for Brock Lesnar and his potential opponent at the next big event.
Lesnar isn't going to be used on television for quite a while now as his latest stint in the WWE has come to an end; although we could expect to see him back on our screen towards SummerSlam or perhaps a little later.
The WWE are already looking at possible big matches which could take place, the first being Triple H who should be going one-on-one against Roman Reigns of The SHIELD. But perhaps Reigns won't be part of The SHIELD once SummerSlam rolls around, as the group could be disbanding very soon, at the minute the rumours surrounding them involve a potential six-man tag team match against Evolution, consisting of Randy Orton, Batista and Triple H.
Kane and Daniel Bryan are also said to be involved in the match, making it an eight-man tag team bout in a potential War Games stipulation.
Looking past SummerSlam, F4WOnline have revealed two possible opponents for the conqueror of the streak; and both options look quite attractive.
The first possibility - like The Undertaker - is an old foe of Brock Lesnar in the form of The Rock. For those of you that remember, The Rock and Brock Lesnar had a feud dating back to 2002 for the WWE Championship, topped off with a brilliant WWE Championship match at SummerSlam of that year. That match saw the young and hungry Brock Lesnar become the youngest WWE Champion in history.
Both men have unfinished business,. The Rock revealed the original plans for WrestleMania XXX a while ago, where he mentioned he and Brock Lesnar were set for a rematch but for his injury and his film duties, The Rock opted not to work a match in New Orleans. Instead we saw history being made when Lesnar ended the streak.
Now it looks as if we will be lucky enough to witness 'Rock vs. Brock II', something long overdue as The Rock would look to get a victory in his rematch against The Beast Incarnate. The second option is the one I would personally love to see being a big supporter of young talent and stars being made at NXT, and having it at WrestleMania 31 would be brilliant for both men, especially Lesnar's opponent who is set to have a massive year.
Who you ask? Cesaro.
Cesaro recently turned face at the WrestleMania XXX pre-show, he created his WrestleMania moment by replicating the Hulk Hogan's body slam on Andre The Giant and taking it a level further, lifting The Big Show and tossing him over the ropes with ease to win the first ever Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal. The following night on Monday Night Raw Cesaro refused to accept that he is a Zeb Colter guy, and stunned the world by announcing himself as the newest Paul Heyman guy.
If there was one man who made WrestleMania his own, that man is Cesaro.
He has aligned himself with the greatest manager that has ever lived in Paul Heyman who guided Lesnar on his way to defeating The Undertaker. Heyman needs to stay on TV and having him manage Cesaro is the single greatest way of doing so.
Heyman will guide Cesaro to the summit of the WWE; and that can be done by becoming WWE World Heavyweight Champion, or simply a legitimate threat to the championship. Cesaro will be an early favourite for the Money in the Bank ladder match and is also expected to be involved in a number of big-name feuds as a face.
The best way to pull this off would be to ensure Heyman makes Cesaro the man, the number one man in the company, only to turn on him and align himself with his original client Brock Lesnar. The fans will fully support Cesaro as he would have the chance to perform at the showcase of the immortals, against the man that defeated The Undertaker at the same stage.
A big year for Cesaro is set to commence, if you're not on the bandwagon just yet; I'd advise you get on now before it's too late.
WWE fans, what do you think? Would you rather see Rock vs. Brock II? Or would you rather see a match between Brock Lesnar and Cesaro at WrestleMania? Have your say in the comments section below or come discuss all things WWE with me on Twitter @RazK28.
