Jack Swagger pinned Big E to win the Intercontinental Championship at last night's WWE live show from Hidalgo, Texas.

Zeb Colter helped Swagger win the title but Raw general manager Brad Maddox quickly came out to restart the match and allow Big E to retain his title, but this will now go down as a Swaggers first reign as IC Champion.

Could this be a hint of things to come fro WWE? After his partnership with new Paul Heyman guy Cesaro has now come to an end, could the former World Champion be turning his attention to a new feud?

Alberto Del Rio was reported to be starting a feud with the former NXT Champion but WWE could have changed this idea given that Del Rio's contract is due to run out soon.

This isn't the first time a title has changed hands at a house show to be dropped back to the champion on the same night, back in 2007 Mickie James pinned Victoria in a triple threat match also involving Melina before then general manager Jonathan Coachman then announced that a re-match would take place and Melina won her title back.

Darren Young also suffered a knee injury at the same house show, during his match with Fandango.
