It’s a pretty safe bet that David Moyes will approach this summer’s transfer market with a degree of trepidation.

Not only must he ensure that he brings in players who are guaranteed to make a genuine impact, but he also has to be in control of a steady flow of first-team stars heading out of Old Trafford.

Let’s face it, Manchester United just simply haven’t been good enough this year, and their players have hardly lived up to their glittering reputations. As such there’s plenty of names speculated to be on Moyes’ chopping block, and if the fans had their way all but the most prestigious of individuals would be sent packing elsewhere.

However if we’re being reasonable United need to be careful about who they let go. Whilst some players honestly can’t claim to be good enough to wear the shirt of the reigning Premier League champions, there’s others who haven’t been given a proper chance to shine.
