WWE legend Hulk Hogan has revealed that he made peace with Ultimate Warrior merely days before he died last Tuesday, according to sources in the U.S.
The pair enjoyed a long-running feud throughout their respective wrestling careers, and were considered rivals for the duration of their time in the ring. However Hogan took to Twitter to tell his followers that he and Warrior (born James Brian Hellwig) had met prior to the latter's untimely death, and made peace.
"RIP WARRIOR. Only love ... We talked, both forgave each other, we hugged, we shook hands as we told each other I love you. I am so sad. God bless his beautiful family. HH."
The Warrior’s passing was made all the more prominent by the fact that he had not only been inducted to the WWE’s Hall of Fame at Wrestlemania XXX last Sunday, but also turned out at Monday night’s Raw, in which he gave a speech about mortality. Though it was widely rumoured that he was on bad terms with a number of senior officials within the organization for a number of years, Warrior’s death has hit the wrestling world hard.
As of yet no official cause of death has been given, but certain reports claim that more than one individual backstage at Wrestlemania weekend expressed concerns over his physical demeanour.
