Manchester United starlet James Wilson could be in line to make his first senior appearance before the end of the season, reports the Daily Mail.

Wilson has attracted the attention of Moyes by impressing for Manchester United's development side during the course of the campaign.

The 18-year-old, who was named on Manchester United's substitutes' bench to play Newcastle United at the beginning of April, is said to be earning high praise within the corridors of Old Trafford.

Wilson was not afforded his chance to impress Moyes on the Premier League stage - but he may not have to wait too long after scoring Manchester United's winning goal against Tottenham.

The Red Devils teenager followed up his strike against Aston Villa by scoring a 58th-minute winner against Tottenham to again steal the plaudits.

Wilson could be promoted to Manchester United's first team in the Premier League champions' last five games as Moyes may choose to experiment with his squad as the Red Devils are out of the race to claim a Champions League spot.

Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie's absence through injury could force Moyes into handing Wilson his first-team debut between now and the end of the season.
