Out-of-favour winger Nani could see himself exit Old Trafford this summer in a swap deal for Paris Saint-Germain's Edinson Cavani, according to the Daily Star. The 27-year-old Manchester United player has appeared in only eleven fixtures this season for the Red Devils and will be offered as an incentive, plus £50 million, for the Uruguayan striker.
After transferring to Manchester United in 2007 the Portuguese winger has failed to match expectations surrounding him. For years he lay in the shadow of fellow countryman Cristiano Ronaldo and now, with change of staffing at the club and his agent Jorge Mendes already hinting at an exit, it appears he will be in a large list of players to leave in summer to make way for Moyes's vision.
Reports suggest that the winger has already attracted interest from clubs such as Fiorentina. However, Manchester United hope to use him as leverage in the deal worth over £60 million.
In the years at Old Trafford Nani has proven himself as a natural winger, and maybe that's just what Paris Saint-Germain require. Discontent has been reported in the French ranks as Cavani has been forced wide to accommodate team-mate Zlatan Ibrabimovic therefore, this could be a deal that suits both parties.
Paris Saint-Germain however, currently look to be holding out for a higher offer for the South American after paying £50 million themselves in July 2013. Yet, Moyes remains hopeful that he can convince the player to move to Manchester.
