Top 9: Biggest transfers for this summer - rated (1)

Much has been made over what is shaping up to be one of the most enthralling summer transfer windows to date, with wild speculation linking practically all of the biggest teams to high-profile names and big-money moves.

As we usher out the end of this campaign and managers begin to properly assess the names on their respective transfer shortlists, the majority of them will be more concerned with the position they desperately need to fill rather than the fanciful gossip which mentions them in the same breath as some of the best players in the world.

Take for example Manchester United. Though the majority of the mainstream media would have you believe David Moyes is hell-bent on the acquisition of a powerful new striker (they’ve been linked to Edinson Cavani on a number of occasions), a realist would assume that he’s carefully measuring the targets he really needs to acquire, and debating over whether or not he’ll be able to get them.

We here at GiveMeSport believe that anyway. We’ve put together a slideshow counting down all the biggest teams, the players they need to buy, and whether or not they’ll be able to land them this summer.

Click on to see who makes our cut… P.S, we’ve ranked their chances out of 10.
