Best surprise: Cesar Azpilicueta

The form of Cesar Azpilicueta has been quite brilliant this season. Taking over and then holding off Ashley Cole as Chelsea's No.1 left-back was never going to be easy, but the Spaniard has thrived under Jose Mourinho.

He's not even playing in his best position, but he's been a model of consistency for the Blues. Azpilicueta's form has surprised many in this campaign and it won't be easy to take that left-back position from him.

Worst surprise: Oscar

Oscar enjoyed a fairly decent start to the season, but in truth his campaign has fizzled out.

Many expected the Brazilian star to kick on when Juan Mata left the club in January, but he's started to find himself on the bench in recent time.

Still a youngster, Chelsea fans will be hoping he comes back even stronger next season.
