Daniel Bryan is in the middle of taking over the WWE right now, with his recent World Heavyweight Championship success at WrestleMania to show for it.

But now it looks like the popular wrestler, and his famous 'Yes!' celebration, have expanded beyond the realms of the WWE community into Major League Baseball.

Yesterday the Pittsburgh Pirates honored Bryan by imitating  the 'Yes' chant after securing a pair of runs part-way through their home-run fest with the Cincinnati Reds.

Considering there were a total of 10 home runs scored in the game before rain suspended play on Tuesday, we are surprised the celebration was restricted to just the one outing.

With the recent news that the Miami Marlins' Garrett Jones plans on honoring the recently deceased Ultimate Warrior by using the wrestler's theme song as his 'walk on music', it is clear that there are some keen WWE fans amongst the professional baseball ranks.

You can see a gif of the celebration here, or watch the full action via this video link.
