Two South Carolina Gamecock football players are wanted for questioning by New York police in relation to an assault at a nightclub, according to TMZ Sports.
Don't worry Houston Texans fans, Jadeveon Clowney is not among them.
However, cornerback Victor Hampton and defensive lineman Kelcy Quarlies, who are both expecting to be drafted this May are reportedly wanted for questioning about the altercation at a New York venue involving a nightclub promoter.
TMZ Sports report that the players are: "wanted for questioning at the very least' regarding an incident at Greenhouse nightclub on April 11."
It is not clear at this stage what involvement, if any, the players had in the incident but it is unlikely to do their draft stock any good with a number of quality players expected to be available in the first four rounds.
Both players were defensive teammates of Clowney, who is widely thought of as the best player in the draft and is expected to be a top-five pick in May.
