FIFA agent Francis Gallardo has suggested that Chelsea could be willing to allow Oscar join Real Madrid if Luka Modric will move the other way.
Modric was a long term target for Chelsea before his move to Spain in 2010. Although initially struggling to make a mark, Modric is now a key player for Madrid under Carlo Ancellotti this season.
Oscar, on the other hand, has been Chelsea's other stand-out performer this season after Eden Hazard, scoring eight league goals. He has been a key component of Jose Mourinho's new look Blues and has even ousted Juan Mata from the club entirely.
But Gallardo believes a swap deal could be on the cards.
"This could be a possibility," Gallardo told Spanish TV station La Sexta, reports the Daily Express.
"Mourinho is a fan of the strong Real Madrid star. He knows Modric will be expensive and would be happy to exchange a pretty good player Chelsea.
"The player Mourinho wants at Chelsea is Modric and he is willing to include Oscar plus cash in the transaction."
Such a deal would be unlikely as Madrid would be unwilling to let Modric go, and Mourinho would be ill-pleased to do same to Oscar.
