It's fair to say that Kobe Bryant has been fairly pissed off for the whole season as the LA Lakers have tanked their way to a truly pitiful record.

And it seems that the Black Mamba has finally had enough of how bad his beloved side have been and can't be bothered sticking around for the end of the disastrously bad season.

The Lakers end their season with a trip to the San Antonio Spurs tonight but the highest paid player in the NBA won't be there.

Instead of sitting on the sidelines at the Alamo, Bryant will be jetting off for a lovely little holiday in the south of France.

From the LA Times:

"While the Lakers prepared for their last game of the season, Kobe Bryant was already beginning his off-season.

Bryant went to France with family members either Tuesday or Wednesday, the Los Angeles Times has learned. The Lakers conclude their season Wednesday night against the San Antonio Spurs."

Bryant has not played since sustaining a fractured knee in December. He appeared in only six games this season, missing the first 19 while rehabbing a torn Achilles' tendon.

Kobe was supposed to address the fans at the last home match of the season but didn't make it with an alleged migraine.
