After this photo of CM Punk made its rounds on the internet, WWE Legend Mick Foley took to Facebook to reveal his thoughts on Punk walking away from the WWE.

"While I respect everybody's opinion – as long as it is given in a respectful way, I have to disagree with those out there who find great fault in Punk's [decision] simply walk away," Foley posted on his Facebook page.

He went on to discuss the pain he personally saw Punk in on a nightly basis, and if anyone in the WWE locker room understands the toll being a performer at the highest level takes on your body in the WWE, its the man that company created the Hardcore Championship in honor of.

Punk was last seen on WWE programming at the Royal Rumble in January, before telling WWE Chairman Vince McMahon that he was "going home".

The WWE Raw script for April 14, that was leaked online has Punk listed as injured, with no timetable for his return.
