Arsenal monitoring Juventus target De Girolamo

Arsenal and Juventus are watching Italian forward Diego de Girolamo, according to the Daily Mail

The 18-year-old starlet, who is currently plying his trade at League One outfit Sheffield United, has been capped at Under 18 and 19 level for Italy.

Despite the fact that the striker is yet to make an appearance for United's first team, it appears that Arsenal are ready to bring him to the Premier League.

However, they may have to go head-to-head with Italian giants Juventus for the player's signature. De Girolamo certainly looks an exciting prospect and has appeared on the Blades' substitute bench.

And, as Arsenal look ahead to the future, De Girolamo could be the latest young talent to arrive in north London.

It remains to be seen as to whether the European duo step up their interest in the forward in the near future, but for now they will concentrate on the end of this campaign.

Arsenal' immediate focus will turn to their Premier League clash with Hull City as they look to take another step towards securing Champions League football for next season.
