Manchester United defender Phil Jones has revealed he wants to stay at the Premier League champions for the next 10 years.
The 22-year-old is expected to become a major part of Manchester United's first-team squad next season as Rio Ferdinand is expected to join Nemanja Vidic in leaving the club in the summer.
Jones has been tipped to form a central defensive partnership with fellow England international Chris Smalling when the aforementioned duo move on to pastures new.
And the former Blackburn Rovers starlet, speaking to fans on Facebook, has reiterated his desire to stay at Manchester United for a considerable amount of time.
When asked where he sees himself in 10 years, Jones replied: "I would like to still be at Manchester United having played a lot of games for the club and represented the club in a lot of competitions."
Former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson believes Jones, who has two years left on his current deal, will become one of the best players in Manchester United's history.
Jones will be hoping he can help Manchester United restore some kind of pride between now and the end of the season after a disappointing season for all concerned at the Premier League champions.
