Pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather took time away from his 'hard work dedication' mantra to attend the Los Angeles premiere of Haunted House 2 on Wednesday night, a film written by and starring friend Marlon Wayans.
Mayweather splits his time between a Las Vegas training base and LA and this week has proved no different, despite being just over a fortnight away from defending a perfect 45-0 professional record against Marcos Maidana.
The 37-year-old's commitment to training is not in question, but a fighter dubbed 'Money' is never shy in sharing the spotlight during downtime and joined a host of Hollywood stars on the red carpet last night.
Any fans hoping to grab an autograph or selfie with the world champion were left disappointed though, as Mayweather was flanked by four huge bodyguards all decked out in 'The Money Team' attire in front of eager paparazzi.
Mayweather used his considerable social media reach to publicise his appearance at the premier and promote the film at the same time, with the obligatory red-carpet snap posted online.
Attention around all things Mayweather will intensify over the next two weeks, as fight fans gear up for his scrap against Argentine slugger Maidana at the MGM Grand on May 3rd.
